Jill lives happily with her husband Harry Stokman and two cats in the Netherlands. Poetry has always been a portal for her to translate her thoughts and imaginations. She studied English Letters and Linguistics in order to explore the rich world of English Literature. Furthermore, she uses poetry as a playground to discover and reveal the inner beauty of life, framed by delightful, rhythmic building stones, which is the English language. As she lives in The Netherlands, she writes a few poems in Dutch as well. English is her third language.
Her creativity also extends to making fantasy-inspired head jewelry and costumes, learning to play piano, drawing and painting, photography, and videomaking.
Professionally, she is the owner of Dawn Dreams Media , building web sites and graphic designing for print works.
